Our Wedding

We returned home to a whirlwind of wedding planning, something we had successfully avoided for the past 3 months. Our wedding was more than a one day event… to us it felt like a festival. The festival of Deb and Boaz. There was the hens, bux, mikvah, recipe night, family shabbat dinner, ufruf… (and after being just the two of us on the road for so long all the attention took some getting used to!) and then the main event… our chuppah.

Our wedding brought all of our favourite people together, it brought us closer to our family and friends. It was the most beautiful, moving and memorable way to begin our marriage. We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who shared it with us, from near and afar. We left Melbourne with full hearts feeling all loved up, overwhelmed by all of the love and support from everyone.

A massive shout out to our favourite photographer, Lara Luz, who took amazingly beautiful shots of the day (including the one below!). She has posted a blog with some of them, and the rest you can find here (password is ‘Fun’).

Sooo.. What’s next? Part 3 – Overseas Adventure Extravaganza taking us to Argentina, Brazil, Morocco, Israel, Berlin, London and Thailand!! Join us, and connect us with your friends along the way.

About postcard from the road

When saying goodbye, a friend left me with the following words of advice... "postcards dont go out of fashion". Share our adventures from the road on our fantastical year-long adventure.
